Livia is a highly accomplished solicitor specialising in immigration law, in a wide range of  personal and business immigration matters.

 

Fluent in both English and Portuguese, Livia received her Law degree in Brazil in 2005 and ther enhanced her legal education by obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Law from the BPP University Law School in the UK. Additionally, Livia completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at a prominent UK law firm with over 5,000 employees, where she gained valuable experience handling cases related to women trafficking, domestic violence, and individuals detained in the UK.

 

Livia’s professional experience in immigration dates back to 2008 when she became an immigration adviser and set up her own practice regulated by the UK Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC). As an OISC Level 2 Adviser Livia successfully managed the practice until she decided to switch and qualify as a solicitor.

 

Since the beginning of her journey in 2008, Livia has made a mission to herself to help people through their stages of adaptation to their lives in immigration, helping more than 1,000 clients. Livia’s interpersonal skills, reach personality and multi-cultural background enabled her to gain a strong understanding and insight into the deepest needs of the diverse community of the immigrants in the UK and amongst those wishing to relocate to the UK for work or personal reasons. This commitment and unwavering dedication led to Livia’s recognition in the Best of Brazil Awards, where she was honoured as the best Brazilian solicitor in the UK. Furthermore, in 2021, she achieved the prestigious 2021 London Guide Award in the ‘Best Lawyer’ category.
