Durand is a solicitor qualified in England and Wales, with over 12 years of experience  conducting advocacy for our firm. He is highly experienced in the First-tier and Upper Tribunals and holds Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) allowing him to handle Judicial Review and onward appeal work when necessary.

 

Prior to becoming a solicitor, Durand was called to the Bar of England and Wales and holds an MA in International Human Rights Law. Durand is often chosen for the advocacy work due to his dual experience as a solicitor and barrister. His success rate has always been very consistent, winning even some of the most challenging cases with excellent results for our clients.

 

Before joining our team, Durand worked as a Senior Immigration Caseworker and served as in-house counsel at a large legally aided firm. This prior experience has refined his advocacy practice, allowing him to dedicate meticulous attention to the cases he is instructed in.

 

Durand is fluent in English and Japanese languages. He is a member of the British Japanese Lawyers Association.
